Kate Rogers

Meet Kate

Kate has a BA in graphic design from Manchester Metropolitan University. Teaching A level art, printmaking and fine art textiles has been her main career although she has also held a number of exhibitions of her own work. These exhibitions have included free form calligraphy and silk screen printing and won her an award from the painter stainers Guild in London.

The work she creates reflects her interest in texture and abstract images. Colour is an important element in her work and its expressive quality is clearly visible. Landscape creates a subject to express this interest combining colour, texture and perspective.

Kate is also a keen gardener and propagates many plants for her garden.
